An Asti native, he was born artistically from a classical education, graduating in fact from the Art Institute of Asti and later from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. A lover of painting, especially figurative painting, he tackles it with scrupulous care and attention until it becomes his profession. For more than 20 years he has been using the technical skills, acquired over the years in the service of interior decoration. Hence, here are ceilings, room decorations, trompe l'oeil and faux frescoes created mainly between Turin, Milan and the most prestigious locations in Liguria, the French Riviera and the Amalfi Coast. He has taught painting techniques in the past in various art institutes and participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Parallel to a more intimate painting that leads him to scour the human soul, in search of inner clarity, he has always pursued a more classical line, consisting mainly of landscapes of rare realistic and poetic intensity. He moves with ease from the misty hills of Monferrato, his homeland, to the sharper, more colorful views of the Amalfi Coast, his adopted homeland. From the most delicate watercolor to the most innovative textural techniques made with strings and gold, the intent is unique: to capture fully and with intensity, the magic, the atmospheres and the bright colors of the divine Amalfi Coast.
