Amalfi Coast: unseen wonders, all to be discovered

Short trip to discover beautiful villages, far from mass tourism

03-September-2021

The Amalfi Coast, in Campania, is one of the most beautiful and famous stretches of coastline in our country, so much so that it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997.

Coastal villages overlook a beautiful blue sea, perched on sinuous cliffs with breathtaking views, each with its own history, culture and tradition.

Some of these hamlets in the Amalfi Coast, such as Positano and Amalfi, for their beauty are famous and very popular, others, From Tramonti to Atrani, from Cetara to Minori and Maiori are instead smaller, more hidden and lesser-known wonders.

State Highway 163, absolute beauty From Positano to Vietri sul Mare runs the SS163 state highway, considered one of the most beautiful roads in the Boot (and therefore in the world), a wonderful route that winds between many small towns nestled between fabulous beaches and mountains. The Amalfi Coast is a natural paradise with the colors of the houses standing out among the cobalt blue of the sea and the scent of the citrus fruits typical of the area. A starting point for the tour can certainly be Amalfi, magnificent town that is the "capital" of the entire Coast perhaps from the magnificent Santa Caterina Hotel, overlooking the sea. Or you can choose Wrath, and stay overnight in the picturesque Hostaria Da Bacco.
