French trade magazine names the nineteen best restaurants on the Coast.

09-January-2023

Condé Nast Traveller trade magazine has selected nineteen typical restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. The choice combines tradition and innovation of signs that have made history in the Divina.

"The Romans were right when they called it Campania Felix.". So begins the article authored by Nicky Swallow, a reporter for the Condé Nast Traveller, a luxury travel and lifestyle magazine that has been working in the field for more than three decades.

The pen delved into the Divine's culinary orbit, sounding out flavors and culture of a land thousands of years old. In 1960, the first Italian Michelin star went to. La Caravella in Amalfi. Today, not surprisingly, the area boasts one of the highest concentrations of stars in Italy.

But that is not the whole story, and some of the best dining experiences can be had in authentic trattorias that are well off the tourist track. Culinary traditions on the Amalfi Coast are influenced by the coexistence of sea and mountains and the warm, sunny climate-the flavors are bold and the colors are bright.

Condé Nast Traveller selected 19 restaurants worth trying on the Amalfi Coast. Among them:

Armandino and Kasai - insignias that have contributed to the Heart Raffle in Praiano -, Hostaria di Bacco, Lido Azzurro, Sal De Riso, Le Sirenuse, Grottino Azzurro, Lo Scoglio, Acquapazza, Maria Grazia, Casa e Bottega, 'A Paranza, Next2, Donna Rosa, Cumpa Cosimo, Glicine, Bruno, La Cambusa e The Pirate.
